How do you maximise the socio-economic impact of your project? How can you effectively realise the regenerative and transformative benefits of your development? What鈥檚 the most effective way to win investment for your region? How can we change stranded assets to make them valuable and resilient for the future?
When a project demands the best possible sustainable, economic and social outcomes, 海角视频 doesn鈥檛 only understand the operational, strategic and business need of your asset鈥 we鈥檙e also fluent in the engineering behind it.
Ever-rising demands for economic, environmental and social sustainability call for fresh development thinking. Clients need strategies that satisfy today鈥檚 criteria while anticipating tomorrow鈥檚 challenges. A key challenge is making a development truly sustainable: this means making it economically, environmentally and socially sustainable and resilient. Operations must at the very least be efficient and positively impactful, but 鈥 critically 鈥 must also be practicably supported by deep engineering knowledge. Strategies must have resilience built in, so assets are never not beneficial to users, occupiers and communities, despite the inevitable urban changes and the new challenges they will bring.
As a global network of advisors, problem-solvers and technical experts, we have faced your most pressing development challenges multiple times before. And while this experience is, of course, invaluable, we never forget that circumstantial drivers make each development unique. We see and understand your most intricate and hyper-connected set of complex factors and assemble the most relevant advisory skills to address them.

Resilience, built in
Cities and regions rarely stand still. Social and economic changes mean urban structures, land use and infrastructure use change all the time. We work to make sure they remain aligned with what a city or region needs and extract locked-in or potentially wasted value from our client鈥檚 assets.
Creating, changing and delivering these spaces is a complex process. By designing systems that are economically resilient, each repurposing and regeneration is a fresh opportunity to future-proof assets and infrastructure to make sure they align with ever-changing needs. And because we鈥檙e big believers in action over theory, we actively show you how to take direct responsibility for your sustainability impact. Both now. And in the future.

Our experience
The High Line
New York, USA
Built in the 1930s and last used in 1980, the High Line was a little known and long abandoned stretch of elevated railroad that spanned Manhattan鈥檚 meatpacking district. Demolition seemed imminent until the Friends of the High Line and the City of New York commissioned 海角视频 to create a masterplan for the reuse and reintegration of the railroad.

Reimagine the Canals Competition and Strategy Framework
New York, USA
In early 2017, the New York Power Authority (NYPA) assumed control of the canal system from the New York State Thruway Authority and initiated a strategic planning process to assure the long-term vitality of the canal system.
As part of this process, NYPA and the New York State Canal Corporation engaged 海角视频 to run the 鈥楻eimagine the Canals鈥 competition and help develop a strategy for the future of the New York State Canal System.
