Joining 海角视频 in 1999, Ian is the Director of the Bath building environments team. As a project director, he is responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams on a wide variety of projects in the education sector.

Ian has overseen the delivery of educational projects such as, Bristol’s 鈥楤uilding Schools for the Future鈥� (four new build schools serving over 6,000 pupils with a construction value in excess of 拢93m), St Bartholomew鈥檚 School in Newbury, Chobham Academy in Stratford, City Academy in Bristol and the Cedars Hall building at Wells Cathedral School.

His considerable project experience extends to the Higher Education sector, where he led the Faculty of English & Institute of Criminology buildings at Cambridge University, the refurbishment of the Fry Building at the University of Bristol and the Cannington Court Campus project.

Ian’s involvement with 鈥楶ost Occupancy Evaluation鈥� studies of education buildings means that he has developed a detailed understanding of the performance of the buildings post completion. This expertise is used to inform more efficient design solutions across all our projects.

As well as working in the Education sector, Ian has also been involved in our Sports and Entertainment sector, delivering the 2014 Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Stadium in Russia and the new Hampshire County Cricket Club stadium.

Internally, Ian is part of our mentorship scheme, delivering internal training programmes for graduates, job leaders and project leaders.
