Joining º£½ÇÊÓƵ in 2022, Gencay is a Partner based in our Munich office. He primarily provides technical and commercial leadership to the sustainability and specialists teams in Europe.

He ensures that our projects meet the highest standards of technical quality and business performance. His goal is to help clients make strategic decisions and turn commitments into action through a blend of consultancy and integrated design.

Gencay champions developing buildings and districts with low carbon footprints, both operational and embodied. This approach requires a holistic design-focused on carbon. As a Decarbonisation Guardian, he collaborates with clients to ensure their decarbonisation targets are achieved.  

Throughout his career, Gencay has successfully delivered numerous projects with various scopes and scales. These include commercial, workspace, industrial, and cultural projects in both the public and private sectors.

Gencay holds a Diploma in Architecture and later specialised in sustainable building design by earning an MSc of ClimaDesign at the Technische Universität München. He is a member of the Turkish Chamber of Architects and has authored several articles in architectural magazines.
