Colin Byrne

Colin is a civil engineer leading our Civil Infrastructure teams in both Leeds and Manchester. He initially joined our London office in 2008 before moving north in 2019.
In addition to his role as Infrastructure lead, Colin is our Cities Regional Development lead for both the North-west and North-east regions.
Specialising in complex brownfield redevelopment and greenfield urban extension schemes, he supports his team to deliver technical expertise for developments from masterplanning through to detailed design.
Colin and his team work on many of our high profile projects and focus on delivering sustainable solutions to complex engineering challenges to deliver climate resilient, community focussed and cost effective development infrastructure.
His experience ranges from large scale regional developments to localised high quality public realm improvements. He has also worked on city scale masterplanning and redevelopment schemes across Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Colin is a Chartered Civil Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
