Chris Coulter is a lighting designer in 海角视频’s New York office who focuses on the integration of lighting systems with the built environment.

Chris’ responsibilities include the conceptualization, development, and implementation of lighting schemes. Chris also plays an integral role in the lighting practice鈥檚 daylight analysis sector. Daylight is an often under-utilized resource that is critical to the design of today鈥檚 high performance and sustainable buildings. For each project, he works with the design team to develop specific daylight performance goals.

Through sophisticated daylighting studies, Chris is able to provide a more productive work environment while reducing energy demands of electric lighting and HVAC systems.

Chris recently completed work on the new Louvre Abu Dhabi. He helped in achieving the architect鈥檚 vision for a 鈥榬ain of light鈥� within the interior spaces by allowing natural sunlight to permeate the dome through an intricate lattice structure.
