Digital Stadium Design: Three Parts
In collaboration with Leeds Digital Festival
First Half: 10:00 – 10:45
Part one: Fan engagement to create diverse experiences for a diverse fan-base鈥
The first part of our stadium trilogy. In this session we look at the origins of a typical stadium project. How can a football club align their aspirations with their budget? How can they develop a brief that is more sophisticated than 鈥榓dd X number of seats鈥 or 鈥榗reate a world-class stadium鈥? How can clubs integrate their supporter base into the design journey?鈥
In discussion with Andy Pottinger (海角视频) and Mo Maghazachi (Everton FC).
Second Half: 11:00 – 11:45
Part two: Rapid prototyping to inform client decision making 鈥
The second part of our Stadium trilogy. A session conveying how we are gamifying the design process, providing more options, more detail, and greater cost confidence for clients in the early stages of our Stadium development projects. 鈥
In discussion with Rob May (海角视频), Mo Maghazachi (Everton FC) and Nick Tyrer (BDP Pattern).
Extra Time: 12:00 – 12:45
Part three: Building a unique stadium from standard components鈥
The third and final part of our Stadium trilogy. This session will describe how we are not just pushing the boundaries in design; together with Laing O-Rourke, we are pushing the boundaries in construction too. The new Everton FC Stadium will be a stadium built from a sophisticated kit of parts 鈥 faster to build, higher quality, less waste. 鈥
In discussion with Joe Darcy (海角视频), Mo Maghazachi (Everton FC) and John Lawton (Laing O’Rourke).
