
Jill Theobald
Senior Sustainability Consultant
Jill has been working at º£½ÇÊÓÆµ as a Sustainability Consultant in the Cities Team since 2022. She is based in Berlin.
Since joining º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, she has been designing climate change mitigation and adaptation concepts at the building and neighbourhood level, focusing on governance and strategy development for resilient urban systems.
Jill has extensive experience in advising public and private clients on resilience and ESG strategies, climate change mitigation and adaptation. She leads national and international projects and has contributed to projects in various environments in Europe and the MENA region. Notable projects include developing a climate vulnerability assessment tool in Egypt, working on the international EU Horizon project UP2030 – Climate Neutral and Resilient Cities and local projects in Germany to develop and implement municipal climate adaptation strategies.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of Heidelberg and a master’s in urban planning and urban Futures from the Universities of Potsdam. She also studied at universities in Stuttgart and Prague. She is also registered as a DGNB consultant and is currently completing further training to become a certified expert for climate adaptation finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
