Joining º£½ÇÊÓƵ in 2020 with more than 20 years of experience, Anke leads the European facade engineering team from our Berlin office.

Anke’s role focuses on providing advice to clients and architects on the planning and optimisation of facades. She manages the team in designing facades, providing cost estimates, preparing specifications, managing project pre-construction service agreements, and managing project tenders with potential clients. In addition, Anke also often supports our on-site construction teams with her insights and expertise.

She possesses an impressive portfolio including the delivery of high-profile projects such as Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and the Olympic Stadium in London. Anke has also delivered several projects in Germany, such as the Corum office buildings in Freiburg and Siemens Mobility in Berlin as well as the new opera house in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with Henning Larsen Architects. In addition, she has helped to deliver numerous commercial and residential buildings across Europe.

Anke graduated from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences with a diploma in construction management. Later she was based in the UK to specialise in façade engineering with a master’s degree from the University of Bath.

Outside of her role at º£½ÇÊÓƵ, Anke helps to support other female engineers within the industry. She gives presentations and panel discussions at events such as the WIA Festival (Women in Architecture) and speaks to young pupils at German Girls’ Day initiatives to introduce and encourage them to become engineers.
