Anika Buchmaier
Senior Consultant
Anika is a Senior Sustainability Consultant based in 海角视频鈥檚 Munich office.
Anika started her career in the company in 2020 at the Berlin office in the Cities team, spent a year in the Sustainability & Physics team in London to specialise in circular economy and embodied carbon assessments, to then continue her work in the Munich office.
She also specialises in the field of sustainability strategies and climate adaptation at both building and district scales.
Since joining, she has worked on national and international sustainability and climate adaptation strategies on different scales and gained experience as a project manager in interdisciplinary projects. As a registered consultant and ESG manager she guides clients throughout the process of green building and district certifications according to the standards of the German Green Building Council (DGNB). Anika is also a certified new builds auditor for BREEAM DE.
Before obtaining her Master’s degree in urban design and local planning at the L眉beck University of Technology, Anika studied infrastructure management at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences and at the University of J枚nk枚ping in Sweden. Prior to joining 海角视频 Germany, she gained experience in transportation and urban planning offices and in construction and real estate management in industrial companies. Thanks to this background, she is able to bring a holistic approach to her role as a sustainability consultant.
