Alex Nutkiewicz
Senior Consultant | Energy
Alex Nutkiewicz is a Senior Consultant with the Cities team at º£½ÇÊÓƵ with extensive experience in urban-scale energy modeling, data science, and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
In her role, Alex leads projects focused on the technological and economic development of thermal energy networks, portfolio decarbonization strategies, and large-scale energy masterplanning across the United States. Her work integrates data-driven and physics-based modeling techniques to inform decision-making for energy-related challenges in the urban built environment.
Beyond her project work, Alex has published research quantifying the influence of urban environments on building energy consumption, the impacts of open data policies on retrofit decision-making, and, most recently, the comparative feasibility of thermal energy networks across the United States. She has presented her work at the NeurIPS workshop on Climate Change – Artificial Intelligence, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and the International Conference on Applied Energy.
