Alex Nutkiewicz is a Senior Consultant with the Cities team at 海角视频.
In her role, Alex contributes to consulting projects focused on evaluating the technological and economic feasibility of deploying new energy systems across cities.
Her work integrates data-driven and physics-based modeling techniques to create interpretable tools to inform decision-making for energy-related challenges in the urban built environment. Prior to joining 海角视频, Alex received her PhD in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, where her research explored how urban environments can influence building energy consumption and how those insights can drive energy efficient design and retrofits.
She has published her work in several peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at the NeurIPS workshop on Climate Change 鈥� Artificial Intelligence, the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and the International Conference on Applied Energy, where her work won the 2018 Best Paper award. Alex also holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Design & Construction and a Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Engineering from Stanford University.
