Our impact

ESG reporting

海角视频鈥檚 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report looks at how we manage our business to deliver positive outcomes for people, places and planet.

This report builds on previous Global Sustainability Reports (see below). In broadening the scope, we can provide a more rounded view of our business 鈥 reflecting the expectations of our clients, employees and other stakeholders to address challenges that stretch beyond the environment alone.

This report represents our progress on a journey; we have ambitious plans and continue to work to develop improved understanding of our long-term impact. Our 2024 ESG Report reflects both our current performance and our plans for the future.

Our climate commitments

海角视频 is working towards an equitable and green recovery, adapting our business to mitigate climate change and the biodiversity crisis. Our Global Sustainability Report outlines how we are progressing with our sustainability journey, looking through the lenses of our projects and operations.

We have set three important targets:

1. Reduce our own operational carbon emissions by 21% by 2025

2. Design all new build projects to be net zero carbon in operation by 2030

3. Reduce embodied carbon intensity of all new buildings, major retrofits and infrastructure projects by 50% by 2030.

Our net zero routemap lays out a framework that will support two of our core climate targets. By 2030 our goal is to design all new build projects to be net zero carbon in operation and to reduce the embodied carbon intensity of all new buildings, major retrofits and infrastructure projects by 50% from a 2020 baseline.

The Edit: Our annual report

The Edit is 海角视频’s annual report showcasing the very best of our work from across the practice. Our latest report explores the impact our engineers and advisors are having on the built environment. Discover how we鈥檙e tackling the climate and biodiversity emergency, as well as our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Our social impact

海角视频 believes in the need to be actively involved with our local communities wherever we can, as well as making our skills, experience and time available to those in society that are most in need, wherever they are located in the world.

Our main programme for community involvement is Share Our Skills (SOS), established in 2014, it enables our employees to carry out non-fee paying work during regular work time.

Building our inclusive culture

We create environments where everyone can thrive; identities are not masked, difference is celebrated, diversity of thought appreciated, and a sense of belonging is within everyone鈥檚 reach.

By recognising and supporting individual needs, we aim to 鈥榤eet people where they are鈥. Our continued efforts to reflect the varied cultures of the communities and clients we serve is shaping the diverse practice we are today.
