Shelby Buso is a principal and Climate Action & Resilience Lead in 海角视频鈥檚 San Diego office.
Shelby is the former Chief Sustainability Officer and Deputy Director of the Planning Department for the City of San Diego where she gained extensive experience in policy development and project management related to decarbonization of the built environment, access to clean and renewable energy, mobility & land use planning, circular economy and clean communities projects, resilient infrastructure and healthy ecosystems management, and emerging climate action technologies.
She previously served as the Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Miami and the Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Atlanta as well as a Director for the US Green Building Council. Shelby holds a Juris Doctorate and Master鈥檚 Degree of Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Spanish from Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
