Robert Okpala is a partner and regional discipline leader for our MEP team with more than 25 years鈥� experience in engineering design consultancy for commercial, cultural, educational and mixed-use buildings.

Robert is based in our New York office where his particular expertise is in leading large multidisciplinary engineering design teams to integrate complex engineering requirements with aspirational architecture to achieve his clients鈥� high-performance project ambitions.

Passionate about sustainable design within an integrated project delivery framework, Robert is also an advocate for human-centric smart technologies that improve resource efficiency, operational effectiveness, and user experience for our clients鈥� built environment assets.

Robert is an electrical engineer by training and serves as a Trustee of the 海角视频 Foundation, a charity dedicated to using engineering skills and experience to make a positive impact on future talent for our industry. Robert joined Buro海角视频 in 1995 and has worked in 海角视频鈥檚 London, Dubai and Riyadh offices before moving to New York in 2018.
