Based in our London office, Richard joined the sustainability team at 海角视频 in 2023 with a focus on ESG and corporate advisory.
In his role, Richard focuses on providing climate risk and net zero strategies and guidance for corporate and portfolio decarbonisation roadmaps, including alignment with Science Based Targets and the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM).
He is an experienced environmental consultant and campaigner with expertise in net zero carbon, national building policy and real estate sustainability frameworks. Richard has supported organisations across various sectors to develop ESG and decarbonisation strategies, most notably covering commercial real estate and higher education.
Throughout his career, he has excelled in strategic sustainability consultancy, building teams and services around ESG strategies, and supporting net zero carbon roadmaps and climate risk assessments. Richard previously worked at UKGBC, where he specialised in policy and public affairs, energy efficiency and green finance. During this time, he established UKGBC’s largest programme of work, Advancing Net Zero, and led the development of the Net Zero Carbon Buildings Framework.
