Senior Sustainability Engineer
Quirine joined º£½ÇÊÓÆµ in 2023 as a Senior Sustainability Engineer in our Rotterdam office.
She studied BSc Architecture and specialised in MSc Building Technology, with the annotation Technology in Sustainable Development, at the Technical University of Delft. Quirine has over five years of experience in sustainability consultancy in multidisciplinary design teams, working on various new building projects with high sustainability ambitions. As a Senior Sustainability Engineer, she is responsible for formulating and safeguarding the sustainability ambitions of building projects and the implementation of sustainability strategies in designs in collaboration with all disciplines, using an integrated engineering design approach.
Quirine gained experience in the field of Sustainability consultancy, working previously for Dutch Engineering firm Royal HaskoningDHV. Quirine has also spent one year as a strategic real estate consultant for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she was responsible for portfolio management, placing the Sustainability ambitions of the MFA in the broader context of the other real estate ambitions; safe, futureproof and effective embassies.
She has particular expertise in net zero carbon and circular economy and has performed CO2-impact and material flow analyses on building, portfolio and organisational levels.
