As a Senior Structural Engineer, Paul began his role delivering the London 2012 Olympic Stadium Transformation Roof. Following this, he became a key member of the design team working on the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC) development. Paul spent four year on the project, working on the cable net roof design, primary structural steelwork and the South Stand delivery through to construction, where he spent 18 months in the THFC office adjacent to site.

Paul then worked on the delivery of the cable net roof and primary steelwork for Education City Stadium for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup. He led the delivery of final construction information for the roof liaising with the main contractor.

Between 2018 and 2020, Paul’s main focus was designing two replacement stands at Lord’s Cricket Ground with capacity for 11,500 spectators. He worked on this from the design stages through to final construction. He became the Job Leader for the structures discipline leading the delivery of information and liaison with the main contractor and all structural contractors.

Since 2020, Paul has been part of the senior structural team on the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester. In addition to his project work, Paul has been actively involved in key aspects of our Sport and Entertainment sector, including Venue Performance Consultancy.
