Parvathi Nampoothiri is a Partner based in Dubai and leads 海角视频鈥檚 Middle East urban strategies team. She is a strategic planner and urban designer with 20 years of experience across the Middle East and North America.

Leading a variety of planning projects with her team, Parvathi is dedicated to crafting vibrant, healthy and sustainable communities across the region. She emphasises the importance of innovation and thought leadership in shaping the urban environment to improve the quality of life for people and drive forward-thinking solutions that meet today’s needs while anticipating future challenges.

During her time at 海角视频, Parvathi has directed key projects, integrating multiple disciplines and fostering stakeholder collaboration to address complex urban issues.

Before joining 海角视频, Parvathi led the urban design department at the city of Markham in Canada and worked at the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi, developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, regulatory frameworks and guidelines. She holds a Master of Urban Planning degree from McGill University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kerala.

Her professional affiliations include the American Planning Association and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitats. She previously held board positions at UAE Lambda Alpha International, Tennessee Urban Forestry Council and Transit Now Nashville, reflecting her commitment to the professional community and continued learning.
