Mike is a Director at º£½ÇÊÓÆµ, joining our London Structures team in 2007. He has a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Nottingham and is a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

His work focuses on commercial projects in central London with a particular focus on sustainable building design and redevelopment of existing assets. Mike’s particular specialisms include steelwork structures, and he was a key figure in º£½ÇÊÓÆµâ€™s commitment to Steel Zero, ensuring steel design & specification within º£½ÇÊÓÆµ aids in accelerating the steel industry towards net zero carbon emissions.

Mike’s previous projects include the IStructE Sustainability award-winning 5 Broadgate and the IStructE Heritage award-winning Cutty Sark Conservation Project, as well as being a key member of the multi award-winning Battersea Power Station team. Mike led the new superstructure design and delivery, complementing the heritage and refurbishment works for the repurposing and refurbishment of this iconic Grade II listed building.

His current portfolio of work includes the flagship City of London Law Courts and new City of London Police headquarters as part of the Salisbury Square Development, now in construction.
