Matthew Jackson-Jones
Senior Structural Engineer
Matthew Jackson-Jones is a Senior Structural Engineer based out of our Chicago office.
Matthew joined 海角视频 in 2017 following his tenure as an ICE Quest scholar within the company. Since then, he has worked in the Bath and Edinburgh offices, gaining chartership with the ICE in 2020 and moving to join our US Structures team in 2023.
Matthew has worked on projects in a range of sectors including Aviation, Sport and Leisure, Commercial and Entertainment. He enjoys all stages of the design process: from creative, collaborative design at concept stage through to closely supporting the construction team on site to deliver projects efficiently and to a high quality.
He is a member of the US Structural Sustainability Task Group helping to develop and implement strategies to track and reduce the embodied carbon of our projects. He also has experience and an interest in adaptive reuse and historic building conservation, representing the US Structures team in 海角视频鈥檚 Global Adaptive Reuse Community and as member of Landmarks Illinois鈥檚 Skyline Council for emerging professionals.
