Matthew Crouchman
Technical Director
Matthew is an experienced chartered civil and structural engineer, specialising in bridges and civil structures.
Joining 海角视频 in 2006, he is a senior member of our bridges team. Mathew has led and worked on many challenging schemes in the UK and overseas, including several projects with railway interfaces.
An experienced project manager and principal designer, his expertise lie in structural design, construction, examination, assessment, refurbishment and retrofit. Matthew takes an informed and pragmatic approach to problem solving, drawing on his numerical, analytical and commercial skills. Matthew’s interest in buildability and the benefits this brings to construction, cost and safety means he takes a whole life approach to projects.
Before joining the practice, Matthew worked for several international consultancies, specialising in the design, engineering, assessment and maintenance of bridges.
