Marcin Karczmarczyk

Marcin is an experienced structural engineer with over 26 years of professional experience. He joined 海角视频鈥檚 Warsaw team in 2014.
In his role, Marcin successfully ensures harmonious cooperation with architects and the smooth coordination of work within international, multidisciplinary teams. He regularly collaborates with several engineers, designers and architects across our global practice and brings deep specialist knowledge of working practices in Poland and the UK to the table.
Since joining 海角视频, Marcin has been involved in many high-profile projects for which he is responsible for coordinating the Warsaw team and solving technical issues as project leader of large multidisciplinary teams.
Throughout his career, he has been involved in providing innovative engineering solutions to a wide range of international industrial, retail, and cultural projects. A key example of this is his work on the roof construction of the European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden, when Marcin used his extensive expertise in structural engineering to co-create an algorithm to deal with more than two million load combinations.
In his work, he is passionate about elegant design and is particularly fond of working on projects with a strong artistic design vision characterised by sophisticated geometry.
Marcin studied structural engineering at Warsaw University of Technology and is a member of the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers.
