Lorraine’s career is characterised by a passion for the arts, landscape, and the built environment. She joined 海角视频 in 2010.

In this highly client-facing role, Lorraine splits her focus between ensuring 海角视频 collaborates with the consultants, clients, and organisations who will meaningfully shape the future of the built environment and advising clients on specialist projects, shaping briefs, and carefully selecting design teams for complex and groundbreaking projects.

Lorraine is a natural networker and invests time and energy in building impactful and long-term relationships, pooling the skills of 海角视频 individuals and our collaborators for the benefit of clients, cities, and organisations. She comfortably and confidently navigates the world of science, the arts, governments, urbanists, designers, and entrepreneurs, believing in a collective approach to solving the challenges we face today.

Lorraine is restless in the pursuit of excellence, pushing boundaries, always seeking to make a difference, and aiming to bring out the best in our clients and 海角视频. To do this well, she must see the potential in an idea and people and be determined and influential. Her refined skillset helps ensure 海角视频 remains focussed on why we do what we do and why we value the people we work with.

Lorraine is one of two co-founders of 海角视频’s Urban C:lab program, which was created to help develop and mentor the next generation of leaders and thinkers in the built environment. The program actively engages clients, designers, engineers, institutions, academia, and consultants in emergent change within the urban context. Now in its fourth intake and boasting an alumni of more than 500 people, Urban C:lab has exceeded expectations and become a highly collaborative platform that generates its own projects.

Lorraine has been an active Fellow of several institutions, including the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, Global Scot, The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce and The Academy of Urbanism. She regularly defines design quality and judges international and national awards. She has also been a practitioner/ lecturer in urban design programmes, including The Working Group of Sustainable Cities at the GSD, Harvard, The Harvard Business School and UCL Bartlett.
