Associate Principal | Facades
Karl Hirschmann is currently working in 海角视频鈥檚 Los Angeles office providing management and project execution for our Facade / Building Enclosure consulting group across the western part of the United States. Karl has nearly 30 years of architectural experience and has played major design and management roles on multiple award-winning projects as an architect and a facade consultant developing complex custom fa莽ade systems.
For the last eight years Karl has been a Senior Associate at the world renown firm of Gehry Partners in Los Angeles, California where he worked on the Guggenheim Museum in the United Arab Emirates, a large residential development with five towers in London, England in the Battersea Power Station neighborhood, and a mixed use development in Los Angeles with two towers in downtown Los Angeles across from Disney Concert Hall called the Grand.
He has forged strong, productive relationships with clients and contractors; managed large teams of architects and multiple design consultants from design through construction administration; and has coordinated construction documents on complicated, fast-tracked projects in the United States and overseas in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, China, and India
