Julian joined our London office in 2005 and has nearly three decades of structural engineering experience in a wide range of projects across a diverse mix of sectors and building typologies.

He has a proven track record in delivering complex refurbishment projects, with sustainability at their core, reducing embodied carbon and revitalising existing structures. His portfolio also includes extensive work on new-build hotels, offices, large-scale residential developments and retail spaces, often navigating the challenges of deep basements, retained facades, and constrained city-centre sites.

Julian currently leads a team of structural forensic engineers responsible for reviewing a portfolio of existing reinforced concrete residential buildings. This work involves peer reviews of original structural designs and, where required, the development of remedial solutions to strengthen the buildings.

In summer 2025, Julian was successfully admitted to the High Risk Buildings (HRB) Register for Chartered Engineers in the structural discipline.
