Joanna Hedley-Smith
Senior Structural Engineer
Joanna joined 海角视频 in 2022 as an engineer in our Berlin office, where she is part of the Structures team.
She has contributed to a variety of projects, on both an international and local level, including new build and refurbishment projects, as well as smaller scale, temporary installations.
Prior to joining 海角视频 in Germany, Joanna studied at the University of Bath, where she gained her master鈥檚 degree in civil and architectural engineering. During her degree, she carried out a number of work placements in UK-based structural engineering firms, gaining experience in a wide variety of projects.
Since 2023, Joanna has been part of the third Urban C:Lab cohort, where together with the rest of her team, she is investigating the wide-scale adoption of bio-based materials in construction projects.
In 2012 she was awarded an Arkwright Engineering Scholarship and had the opportunity to complete a week of work experience at the 海角视频 London office.
