Joining 海角视频 in 2012, Fergus is an associate director in our UK Sustainability and Physics team.

He brings a unique blend of creativity and practicality. He is motivated by the opportunity to explore the role of the built environment in tackling systemic challenges such as climate and ecological breakdown, widening inequality and declining urban health.

Fergus has worked with leading UK and international clients, across scales and sectors. Most recently, he led 海角视频鈥檚 work with C40 Cities focused on quantifying the co-benefits of climate action, in turn supporting cities to make the case for bolder and more ambitious action.

Fergus was selected to participate on the UK Green Building Council Future Leader programme in 2019 and is involved in 海角视频鈥檚 own response to the Climate Emergency. He is a Trustee of the 海角视频 Foundation where he leads the charity鈥檚 focus on sparking the initial intrigue of the built environments next generation of leaders.

He is part of 海角视频鈥檚 Urban C:Lab programme in which he is exploring how retreat, in the context of climate change, may be realised as a managed and strategic adaptation option that is not just seen as last resort to avoid risk but as an opportunity for moving toward something better.
