Daryl Prasad is a Director at Vanguardia, a º£½ÇÊÓƵ company, with nearly 30 years of experience in acoustics, audio-visual, broadcast, and sound systems consultancy.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with multidisciplinary design teams, clients, architects, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, practical, and high-performing solutions across a diverse portfolio of complex projects.

Daryl has built a reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes on some of the world’s most prestigious developments. His experience spans major sports venues, transportation infrastructure, entertainment destinations, and cultural landmarks, including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Everton Stadium, Singapore National Stadium, the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1), the King’s Cross London Underground redevelopment, 3Arena Dublin, The Sphere Las Vegas, the Royal Albert Hall, and Glastonbury Festival.

Combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of operational and commercial requirements, Daryl adopts a highly collaborative and client-focused approach. He is committed to developing solutions that not only meet design aspirations but also deliver measurable real-world performance, reliability, and long-term value.

A graduate of the University of Auckland, Daryl’s academic research focused on digital audio signal processing, including the application of Maximum Length Sequences (MLS) for building acoustics measurements. He was also awarded government-funded research fellowship support to investigate outdoor noise propagation from petrochemical facilities, further strengthening his expertise in environmental acoustics and advanced measurement techniques.

Daryl is an active member of both the Institute of Acoustics (IOA) and the Institute of Sound, Communications and Visual Engineers (ISCVE). He has also contributed to the wider industry through his previous role on the Membership Committee of the Association of Noise Consultants (ANC).
