Chris Ashton is a Principal at º£½ÇÊÓÆµ who leads the firm’s presence in Florida and serves as part of the Building Environment group’s leadership nationally.
With extensive experience delivering multidisciplinary engineering projects across the U.S. and internationally, Chris is known for his ability to solve complex design challenges through analytical thinking and strong stakeholder collaboration. His approach centers on understanding client aspirations and delivering innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions tailored to local contexts.
Chris has worked across a wide range of sectors—including cultural, higher education, life sciences, healthcare, commercial, hospitality, and adaptive reuse—bringing technical excellence and clear communication to every engagement. He fosters a team culture rooted in curiosity and collaboration, ensuring that solutions are holistic and aligned with broader project goals.
In addition to his project work, Chris has lectured at institutions such as Columbia University and Pratt Institute, helping students explore the integration of engineering systems with architectural design.
