Catherine McCarthy

Catherine joined 海角视频 in 2013 and sits in the sustainability and physics team. She has a mechanical engineering background, with over 15 years鈥� experience.
Catherine has experience in education, residential, leisure, culture and commercial developments, including refurbishment projects. She has a particular interest in delivering low energy and easy to operate solutions. Her desire to deliver low energy building design has led to her certification as a Passivhaus designer.
Catherine has worked on many Passivhaus projects from archival storage facilities to apartment blocks and more recently on a multi-storey office development. Catherine is responsible for the modelling of the projects in the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP), as well as liaising with all members of the design team and the contractor to ensure an integrated approach to Passivhaus is adopted.
