Bruna Lourenco
Sustainability Consultant
Bruna has been part of the 海角视频 Sustainability team since 2023. She is based in our Munich office.
Bruna’s expertise lies in the field of sustainability with a strong focus on reducing the environmental impact of buildings. With a background in civil engineering, she is adept at designing and advising sustainable building projects. Bruna specialises in the field of embodied carbon and circularity at both building and district levels and has been involved in numerous lifecycle assessments during early design stages, advising clients on strategies to reduce carbon emissions.
Since joining 海角视频, Bruna has worked on national and international sustainability projects. She guides clients through the process of green building and district certifications in accordance with DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and the EU taxonomy. Additionally, she contributed to a certification study comparing DGNB, LEED, and BREEAM, analysing how these systems address the pressing challenges faced by the European construction sector.
Bruna graduated from the Technical University of Munich with both a bachelor鈥檚 and a master鈥檚 degree in civil engineering, specialising in resource-efficient and sustainable building design. She is a consultant for the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) as well as a LEED Green Associate. She has also co-authored a published study in The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment, focusing on reducing the embodied carbon of building elements.
