Ben Jones is an Associate Director in 海角视频’s Energy team, with over 15 years of experience delivering low-carbon buildings, energy infrastructure and decarbonisation strategies across the UK.
Based in Manchester, he combines expertise in building services engineering, sustainability and strategic energy planning to help clients navigate the transition to net zero.
Ben leads multidisciplinary teams on complex energy and infrastructure projects, translating technical analysis into practical, investable solutions. His work has spanned local authority, public sector and district energy programmes, with a particular focus on heat networks, building decarbonisation and city-scale energy planning.
Career highlights include acting as Technical Advisor to the Manchester Energy Network, leading the development of decarbonisation plans for local authorities across Greater Manchester, and supporting Plymouth City Council in bringing its city-centre heat network scheme to market. Through these and many other projects, he has helped clients secure funding, reduce carbon emissions and develop resilient energy systems that deliver long-term environmental and social value.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and strategic thinking, Ben is passionate about creating sustainable places and delivering tangible outcomes that support the UK’s net zero ambitions.
