Alessandro is an Associate Structural Engineer for the London Structures Team at º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Alessandro graduated in 2008 with a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Pavia in Italy. He started his career as a site engineer working for mid-size residential and commercial projects until May 2009, when he worked as a volunteer assessing seismic damage for the technical team of EUCENTRE (European Centre for Training and Research in Earthquake Engineering) following the L’Aquila Earthquake.

Following this, Alessandro completed his post-graduate international M.Sc. in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology in 2011 and, later on in 2012, he started his doctoral studies in Earthquake Engineering at the Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in the field of seismic design and assessment of reinforced concrete buildings.

During his part-time doctoral studies, Alessandro was involved with European and international research projects dealing with numerical analysis of buildings and seismic behaviour of a R.C. structural system equipped with passive floor energy dissipators, as well as collaborating with different engineering practices in Italy.

Alessandro’s main experience has been with Freyssinet Products Company (FPC) Italia where he designed seismic isolators for base-isolated buildings and bridges in international projects. In 2016, Alessandro joined the º£½ÇÊÓƵ team in London, where he focused on the structural design for different projects in the UK and worldwide. Alessandro speaks Italian, English and Greek fluently.
