Abdelrahman Helal

Abdelrahman is an expert for data-based planning and digital integration.
As an urban planner with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), his work focuses on optimising and visualising spatially relevant planning processes and decisions, with the help of sound data analysis and digital tools.
From 2017, Abdelrahman worked on projects in the fields of mobility, infrastructure, sustainability and integrated urban and regional development in Germany and abroad from individual buildings to megacities. He moved to Saudi Arabia in 2024 to join the Middle East’s Urban Strategies Team.
He contributes to a wide range of projects with a focus on spatial and strategic planning on different scales and in different regions. He has extensive experience working on projects in Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, ranging from regional frameworks to tourism development, urban regeneration and infrastructure.
Prior to joining 海角视频, Abdelrahman worked in consulting for municipalities and public clients at state and federal level with a focus on urban renewal.
Abdelrahman studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Technical University of Berlin.
