Our portfolio includes landmark projects such as the culturally significant Xiqu Centre, the architecturally striking West Kowloon Terminus Station, the reimagined Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the impressive Passenger Clearance Building at Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port. In mainland China, we’ve contributed to transformative developments including the world-class Beijing Daxing International Airport and Kunming Spring City 66.

海角视频鈥檚 MEP team delivered a high-performance, sustainable workplace for the Hong Kong head office of a leading global financial firm, achieving BEAM Plus Platinum and winning the HKGBC Grand Award for Existing Buildings. The team integrated smart systems, efficient lighting and cooling, and wellbeing-focused design, overcoming pandemic constraints to meet ambitious environmental and aesthetic goals.

Xiqu Centre

海角视频 delivered the Xiqu Centre in Hong Kong鈥檚 West Kowloon Cultural District, overcoming complex engineering challenges. To isolate the Grand Theatre from rail vibrations, it was suspended at roof level using 6,700 tonnes of steel trusses lifted via strand jacking. The team integrated energy-efficient systems, natural ventilation and high-performance chillers to achieve BEAM Plus Gold. Advanced 3D modelling supported the facade design, combining sustainability, technical innovation and architectural excellence in this vibrant cultural landmark.

West Kowloon Terminus Station

海角视频 tackled complex challenges to shape West Kowloon Terminus into a landmark gateway to Hong Kong. The 3D curved roof, with 4,000 glazed panels, brings daylight deep into the station while reducing energy use. Noise and environmental quality were addressed through acoustic barriers and natural ventilation. Advanced computational modelling ensured a design that is resilient and supportive in archiving the award winning architecture. Sweeping pedestrian bridges and a dynamic facade overcame spatial and connectivity constraints, transforming the station into a vibrant civic hub and catalyst for urban regeneration.

Beijing Daxing International Airport

海角视频 engineered Beijing Daxing International Airport鈥檚 700,000m虏 terminal to meet ambitious goals for passenger flow, adaptability and sustainability. Integrating engineering within the architectural form, the team created intuitive circulation and expansive, light-filled spaces. Passive design strategies, including shading, high-performance glazing and roof lights, cut energy use by 50%. A radial layout minimised walking distances, while tempered air systems enhanced comfort. Advanced modelling and close collaboration enabled a flexible, efficient terminal that supports future growth and defines a new global aviation benchmark.

Guangzhou Infinitus Plaza

海角视频 engineered Infinitus Plaza in Guangzhou, adopting the concept of infinity to enhance spatial connectivity across twin towers linked by elevated sky bridges. The complex curved facade, designed with Zaha Hadid Architects, required precise planning and material testing. Perforated aluminium panels were selected to achieve internal transparency and external privacy, while meeting acoustic and sustainability goals. Extensive studies ensured the facade鈥檚 performance aligned with LEED-NC and China 3-Star targets, delivering a technically sophisticated and visually fluid architectural statement.

Kunming Spring City 66

海角视频 provided sustainability solutions for Spring City 66, a 430,000m虏 mixed-use development in Kunming. The team helped achieve LEED Gold certification through passive design strategies, energy modelling and efficient systems. Features included high-performance glazing, shading, water-cooled chillers and rainwater reuse. A 鈥淪ponge City鈥� landscape design managed stormwater and improved air quality. Photovoltaic panels, heat recovery and demand-controlled ventilation further reduced energy use. These interventions delivered over 15% energy savings and enhanced occupant wellbeing across the entire complex.
