Germany’s greenest new office building receives DGNB platinum
HumboldtHafenEins, Berlin鈥檚 newest and greenest office building is the first building to receive the new Platinum plaque of the German Sustainable Building Council () at . 海角视频 was in charge of the concept of sustainability and the DGNB certification and is proud of the success of the highest DGNB rated office building in Germany at the time of the announcement.
The building housing 30,000 square metres of floor space, was built according to plans by based near Berlin’s central station. 海角视频 was also responsible for the structural design. HumboldtHafenEins is thus an example for both, 海角视频鈥檚 sustainable and multidisciplinary approach.
Thomas Kraubitz, Senior Consultant at 海角视频 and auditor of the project remarks “The high rating of 90.4 percent and being awarded the Platinum plaque is the result of a variety of exceptional qualities. In addition to the ventilation systems with heat recovery, energy-optimized cooling systems, easy maintenance and accessibility. It is the productive collaboration with our client , which has made this project such a success.”
