Martin ist seit 2024 als Associate Director Cities in unserem B\u00fcro in Rotterdam t\u00e4tig. In dieser Rolle kann er auf 25 Jahre Erfahrung in der Arbeit an komplexen Projekten der Stadt- und Landschaftsentwicklung in Europa und international zur\u00fcckgreifen. Seine St\u00e4rke liegt in der Integration von Disziplinen und Ma\u00dfst\u00e4ben und der partnerschaftlichen Erarbeitung innovativer L\u00f6sungen in Zeiten des Wandels.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Martin konzentriert sich auf die Transformation von Metropolregionen auf drei Ebenen: Nat\u00fcrliche Systeme wie Wasser, Lebensr\u00e4ume und Freifl\u00e4chen als f\u00fchrende Kraft f\u00fcr die Entwicklung, mit technischen L\u00f6sungen als entscheidende Unterst\u00fctzung; die integrierte Gestaltung von Orten, die Urbanismus, Landschaft und Architektur f\u00fcr ein besseres Leben aller Arten zusammenbringt und ein lernorientierter Co-Kreationsprozess, der es allen Beteiligten erm\u00f6glicht, zu wachsen und sich weiterzuentwickeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seine Jahre als Architekt in \u00d6sterreich haben Martins Verst\u00e4ndnis daf\u00fcr gepr\u00e4gt, dass erfolgreiche Projekte nur durch Zusammenarbeit m\u00f6glich sind. W\u00e4hrend seines f\u00fcnfj\u00e4hrigen Aufenthalts in London leitete Martin Erneuerungsprojekte im gesamten Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich, darunter ein Pilotprojekt f\u00fcr ein auf zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kunst basierte Sozial- und Nachbarschaftsentwicklung. Als Teamleiter des London Olympic Legacy Masterplans trug er zusammen mit einem gro\u00dfen multidisziplin\u00e4ren Team ma\u00dfgeblich zur Entwicklung des innovativen Rahmenplans zur Nachnutzung des Olympiaparks bei. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bevor er zu uns kam, baute Martin ein internationales Designb\u00fcro auf, das Stadt-, Landschafts- und Architekturprojekte f\u00fcr \u00f6ffentliche, gewerbliche und private Kunden durchf\u00fchrt. Seine Arbeit wurde mehrfach ausgezeichnet und von UN-Habitat als herausragende Praxis anerkannt. Martin unterrichtet integraler Entwurf an der Amsterdamer Akademie f\u00fcr Architektur. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Er hat Urbanism an der Bauhaus-Universit\u00e4t in Weimar und Architektur an der University of Applied Sciences in M\u00fcnchen studiert.
